For Patients

Yes — signing up, browsing caregivers, and booking sessions is completely free. You pay only the caregiver's hourly rate per session. An optional Patient Premium plan ($7.99/month) unlocks priority matching and care-sheet PDF exports.
After signing up, go to the Discover tab and enable location access. You can filter caregivers by distance (10, 25, or 50 km, or nationwide), specialty, rating, price range, language, gender, and verification status. Each result shows distance, rating, hourly rate, and bio.
Yes. Add unlimited care recipients to your account — yourself, a parent, child, spouse, sibling, or other. Each recipient has their own medical profile including allergies, chronic conditions, and current medications.
Bookings require a minimum of 2 hours' lead time. You can schedule up to 30 days in advance. There is no maximum booking duration — sessions run for as many hours as your care requires.
Open the booking from the Bookings tab and tap Cancel. Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the session start are free of charge. Late cancellations may incur a fee. No-show grace period is 30 minutes.
The care sheet is a shared clinical record available live during every active booking. The caregiver logs vitals, pain, medications, wound care, intake/output, mood, sleep, and observations in real time. You can follow along in the app. Premium patients can export it as a PDF or JSON for their doctor.

For CareGivers

You need: (1) a government-issued photo ID, (2) your professional license with license number and expiry date, and (3) a live selfie captured inside the app for liveness verification. Our team reviews all documents within 24–48 hours.
Yes. You set your own hourly rate during onboarding and can update it at any time from your profile settings. SoftCare never dictates or caps your rate. Rate changes apply to new requests only.
No. You review each request with full patient context and can accept or decline without penalty. There is no minimum acceptance rate and no requirements on which days you must be available.
Basic ($9.99/mo) allows up to 20 bookings per month with standard placement. Max ($24.99/mo) removes the cap, gives you featured placement at the top of search, advanced analytics, and priority support. Both unlock the ability to accept bookings.
Payment for each completed session is processed through the platform at the caregiver's set hourly rate × the session duration. Payments are released after the booking is marked complete and not disputed.

Billing & Plans

You save 15% with a 6-month plan and 20% with an annual plan versus month-to-month billing. The total is billed upfront. Example: CareGiver Max annual = $239.90 vs $299.88 monthly — saving $59.98 per year.
All subscription plans are non-refundable. However, you can cancel at any time and your plan remains active until the end of the billing period. There are no cancellation fees.
SoftCare accepts all major credit and debit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay on supported devices. All payments are processed securely.
