Getting started is fast, free, and straightforward. Here's what to expect.
Create your free account
Sign up with email, Apple, or Google. Choose "I need care" as your role. Add your location, date of birth, and an emergency contact. Your basic profile takes about 3 minutes.
Add care recipients
Booking for a parent or child? Add them as a care recipient with their own medical profile — allergies, chronic conditions, and current medications — so the caregiver arrives fully informed.
Search & choose a caregiver
Browse caregivers filtered by your location, specialty, rating, price, and language. Read full profiles with bios, experience, and patient reviews before you decide.
Send a booking request
Pick a date, start time, and duration (minimum 1 hour). Add session notes, the care address, and which recipient the booking is for. Submit — the caregiver usually responds within the hour.
Follow the session live
Once accepted and in progress, open the live care sheet to follow vitals, medications, and observations in real time. Chat with the caregiver at any point. After the session, rate your experience.

Questions from patients
Every caregiver on SoftCare passes identity verification (government-issued ID), a professional license check with license number and expiry confirmation, and a live selfie for liveness detection. CareGivers who pass all checks show a Verified shield badge. You can also filter search results to show only Verified caregivers.
Bookings require a minimum of 2 hours' lead time and can be made up to 30 days in advance. For urgent or same-day needs, we recommend submitting a request as early as possible and messaging the caregiver directly through the app.
Yes. Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the booking start time are free of charge. Late cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee. You can cancel directly from the Bookings screen with one tap.
The minimum booking duration is 1 hour. There is no maximum — you can book as many hours as your care requires. Longer sessions are invoiced at the caregiver's hourly rate.
Yes. You can send a new booking request to any caregiver you've worked with before directly from their profile or from your booking history. Continuity of care is important and the platform makes it easy to rebook your preferred caregiver.
