What a SoftCare wound-care CareGiver does

• Standardised wound assessment: dimensions, tissue type (granulating, sloughy, necrotic), exudate, infection risk.
• Aseptic non-touch dressing technique (ANTT) for surgical wounds; clean technique for chronic wounds.
• Selects the correct dressing — hydrocolloid, foam, alginate, silver, or negative-pressure therapy — for the wound type.
• Debridement of devitalised tissue within scope of practice.
• Wound photography and longitudinal documentation in the live care sheet, exportable to your physician.
• Early escalation when the wound is not healing as expected.

5. Every visit is documented in the live care sheet — vitals, wound dimensions, photos, dressing applied.
