Medication Management CareGivers

Verified, licensed CareGivers to help take the right medication at the right time — building schedules, setting reminders, administering doses where licensed, and tracking adherence at home.

When medication management helps

<strong>When this helps:</strong> placeholder

  • Several medications taken at different times of day, where the schedule has become hard to keep track of.
  • Doses that are regularly forgotten, doubled, or taken at the wrong time.
  • A new prescription, dosage change, or hospital discharge with fresh instructions to follow.
  • Injectable medication that someone needs help preparing or administering where a CareGiver is licensed to do so.
  • Memory changes, low vision, or reduced dexterity that make self-medicating difficult.
  • A family member who wants reassurance that doses are being taken correctly while they are away.

What a medication management CareGiver does

  • Builds a clear daily schedule from your prescriptions and sets reminders for each dose.
  • Organises medication into a labelled planner or dose box so the right pills are easy to find.
  • Administers oral and injectable medication during the session, where the CareGiver is licensed to do so.
  • Confirms each dose against the prescription before it is given to reduce errors.
  • Records every medication, dose, and time given in the live care sheet so nothing is guessed later.
  • Watches for and notes side effects or reactions, and flags anything concerning to you and your clinician.
  • Tracks adherence over time so patterns of missed or late doses become visible.
  • Reminds you when a prescription is running low so refills can be arranged in good time.

What stays with your clinician

SoftCare is a marketplace, not a care provider, and gives no medical advice. A CareGiver follows the regimen your prescriber has set — they do not diagnose, prescribe, or change doses. Decisions about what to take, how much, and when belong to your doctor or pharmacist. The care sheet is a record you can bring to those conversations, exportable to PDF or JSON on Patient Premium.

Frequently asked questions

Can a CareGiver give me my injections?

Where the CareGiver is licensed to administer injectable medication, yes — they can prepare and give it during the session. Chat with a CareGiver free before booking to confirm their licence covers the injections you need.

Will SoftCare decide which medications I should take?

No. SoftCare is a marketplace and gives no medical advice. CareGivers follow the regimen your prescriber has set; decisions about medications stay with your doctor or pharmacist.

How is my medication record kept?

Every dose given is logged in the live care sheet during the session, alongside vitals and observations. Authorised family can follow along live, and Patient Premium members can export the record as PDF or JSON.

What happens if I have a bad reaction during a session?

The CareGiver notes it and flags it to you and your clinician. The SOS button sends a one-tap alert to your designated contact and the SoftCare safety team. In a life-threatening emergency, call your local emergency number first.
